The Month of February
The most common word I use lately is busy. Funny for me, I hadn’t noticed until someone pointed it out. Nonetheless, it is so true. February is going to be busy. Grant and I are spending our days wandering from place to place, sleeping in foreign rooms, arguing about bits and parts, practicing, experimenting and eating candy. It’s another neat little adventure as we prepare for some big future plans.
Currently, I am hiding out in a white dark room, lit only by the receding daylight, with a bicycle and some stairs in the foreground. We are set up in a basement suite, in a friends house, in Vancouver for the day; Grant is recording some vocals. I have a bit of downtime before we jump to practice with the gang and I wanted to fill you in on some of the things we have on the go. For the rest of this month and a little bit of next, the two of us will be recording and writing for our next record, practicing here and there with Lindsay and the boys, as well as preparing for some overseas traveling. Steve is starting to work on the tour vlogs for the Diamonds Tour, and we will be having a big show celebrating the EP in March.
