Vancouver’s indie-folk rockers, Behind Sapphire, have been making a good splash with their new EP, “Diamonds”. The latest six tracks have a new taste of adventure and experimentation since their debut album in 2010.

OH MY WHAT A FINE DAY! Live at the Vancouver Convention Centre <3
Ting, Sandy, and I got to hang out and do a photoshoot with Behind Sapphire, one of Vancouver’s coolest bands. They are all super nice and just all-around great people! We did the shoot around English Bay and thank goodness the sun was shining all afternoon. An afternoon well-spent, if I do say so myself.

Anne!! I am so sorry!! I totally know how you feel. There was a time when Grant and I’s favourite band was coming through town - we were 17, and they were playing at some bar downtown, we were so bummed we couldn’t see them. We try our best to do all ages shows, but its real tough! We will be back with new music, and we will meet you so soon! Thank-you for your support, it means the world.

Howdy! Last night we played at the Vancouver Convention Centre for the World Model United Nations Party! It was so sweet! I’ve attached a few photos (see below).
At Midnight, Grant turned 23! So we sang him a HUGE happy birthday and kidnapped him and took him for a ride around town and got him 5 soft serve ice creams from McDonalds. He wanted to share them, so we all toasted ice creams and it was delicious.
It was a very fun and adventurous night. I love playing for the types of crowds that just really get you, and dig it. It makes me smile. Then it makes me want to dance and go nuts.
Shout outs to Michy and Cherie for having us, Jan and Julian and their amazing crew, Alana and Holly, and all our new friends from all over the world. <3
